Frequently Asked QuestionsHow much do I pay for this service?
Nothing. This email service is provided by BuxHost free of charge.
I forgot my password. What can I do?
Click 'Forgot password?' on the main page, or click this link.
Having access to your alternative email address that you have entered during
your registration is required to reset your password.
Can I have more than one buxMAIL account?
Yes, feel free to create more than one account if needed. Note that it's not needed to create
a buxMAIL account for each website you're a member of. You can use the same buxMAIL account on
multiple websites.
I own a PTC website. Can I offer buxMAIL as a free service to my members?
buxMAIL is only available for websites with a NextGen script.
Yes, if you have a NextGen powered website, support for buxMAIL is already build-in:
Can I import my email via POP3 or send out email via SMTP?
buxMAIL is offered as a service to receive paid email from NextGen powered websites.
It can therefore be considered as a dedicated email service with the sole purpose to receive
those paid emails. At the moment POP3 and SMTP are not offered.
How can I cancel my account?
There's no need to. Inactive accounts will be automatically removed after a certain amount of time.
Can I earn money with a buxMAIL account?
buxMAIL is a free email service just like Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo. A buxMAIL account allows
you to receive email from NextGen powered websites. If a website sends you a paid email, your
balance on that website may be credited. For more information about payouts you may want to contact
the support section of the website you received the email from.
Can I send an email from my buxMAIL account?
buxMAIL can only be used to receive email. Sending out email is restricted.
I signed up for an account, but I didn't get any paid email yet.
Make sure to add your buxMAIL address to your account on websites supporting PTR.
For more information you may want to contact the support section of the website you're a member of.
